•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Steven's a baseline normal human. He's thirty eight, British, Jewish, and Latino, with big emotional brown eyes and dark messy cherub curls. On bad days, the sleepless rings around his eyes make him look pretty frayed, like he's one anxiety attack away from crying in public.
If Steven picked his own outfit, it'll be a little wrinkled and oversized, like it never quite made it to the drawer between laundry day and being worn. He likes dark blue and black and grey solids. Lots of layers.
For werewolf-types: Steven smells like staticky wool sweater and Marc's drug store brand deodorant. If you are a werewolf, you can probably also tell he has been petting every single cat, dog, griffin, unicorn, and friendly space lizard on the Barge, multiple times. All of them.
•DEMEANOR: He's a little uncoordinated, like he's not positive how much space he's allowed to take up and wouldn't want to impose. Fidgety, wide-eyed, wary when you meet him. Social, warm, and expressive when he warms up. He's got a totally transparent face that betrays every single thought in his head. His London accent is so thick it sounds fake, his French is inexperienced but enthusiastic. He's usually carrying around whatever Barge library book he's reading today.
•ABILITIES: Normal human who is a big nerd. Do you want to see him read Old Kingdom hieratic ligatures, though? Because he will totally read Old Kingdom hieratic ligatures as a party trick. Isn't that fun? Don't people do that at parties? Steven would love to go to a party where people read hieroglyphs of different sorts to each other.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's in AMAZING shape, the big shirts just hide it? (Marc works out.) Also, at some point in the past he's been shot at least four times in various places, stabbed, beaten up... (That's Marc's fault again.) He should really get some better reading glasses. He has Dissociative Identity Disorder. He doesn't know he has Dissociative Identity Disorder. He thinks he's just absent-minded and forgetful.
