Not a very neat person!

There's more books than furniture. There's a lot more books. All the bookshelves are filled and the floor still has books. There's one functional table and it is holding books. The other "table," which has been set up for tea, is a broken ironing board being propped up with a nightstand.

He smiles as Steven opens the door.]

Oh ... moderate, I suppose. A lot of challenging things are coming up, but I am very glad to be out of the Nethermere. How are you?

[Steven has cleared off: two chairs! They don't match! It's fine!]

[Very curious! He may ask about those later. For now, though, he just smiles warmly at Steven and moves to a chair once it seems appropriate to do so.

That they don't match is fine indeed - a little charming, even.]

Also quite glad of that. It was not one of my favourite outings. [As someone who has experienced death and a lengthy limbo in the aftermath, it certainly stirred up more than he had expected and his sleep has been unsettled.]

Simon did not make a particularly willing exit, but it is nothing I blame him for. [Another smile. He politely folds his hands.] Assisting in repairs on the Barge was more taxing I would say... but I think myself mostly recovered from those efforts.

Oh my days, that's right. You were dead for ages, weren't you? I hope when you were... in your hive mind void at home that it wasn't anything like all that, down there, with the bones and the trees and such.

No. 'T was more a lack of awareness than much else, for a good deal of it. The Nethermere was... oppressive, and it was that which was most uncomfortably familiar.

[Then he lightly shakes his head.]

Being unable to use most of my magic was also... inconvenient.

And you've been using it on repairs, right? I hope you're not taxing yourself too much, Lahabrea mentioned that it's dangerous.
